The conjectures gathered here span an unusually wide range precisely because what unites them is absence of an instrument rather than a shared subject. Pāṇini as compression and Rongorongo as genealogy engine both treat a symbolic or script system -- Sanskrit grammar, the undeciphered rongorongo of Rapa Nui -- as if it encoded something testable, if only the right corpus existed. Herodotus' multiplicative fog and Peutinger's seams point at classical geography (Herodotus, the Peutinger Map) where the needed comparison data has never been assembled at the scale the claim requires. Marking a conjecture this way is itself useful: it flags the idea as real and falsifiable in principle, just not yet checkable against anything that has been built.
